A friend has acquired Modafinil and has offered me some after he's tried some. I'm currently struggling with uni assignments and have considered it. |

Just be really vigilant about taking the smallest dose you can cope on as early as possible in the morning because otherwise you'll be up all night and shit the next day. Well, no, you'll be functioning normally the next day too if you redose after not sleeping but eventually it starts to catch up. |

Modafinil isn't so much a "smart drug" as a "stay awake 8 hours to write that 3000 word essay you left until the night before it's due in drug" and at this it works very well. Be aware of your dose times as the poster above says, and start on the smallest dose - remember you have no tolerance, so splitting a 100mg tab is perfectly fine. It's basically a stim, but not structurally a stim, so treat it as you would Ritalin or similar. Try not to take it too many days in a row, or you'll develop a mental dependence on it to function. |

Not OP. I was thinking of trying to this drug to treat my ADHD, but I just read it works by raising levels of histamine. I already have severe allergies. Hell and damnation. |

Said friend has reported back to me after taking some this morning. He's been very productive. He's going to contact the guy who got them originally for the site he bought them from. |

Just compared Modafinilcat's prices to InhousePharmacy and United Pharmacies (UK). IHP appear to not sell it, I'm guessing >>7195 is confusing the moda supplier with the penis drug suppliers or I didn't look hard enough. |

I have to register for an account on UPUK, I assume I shouldn't put any real information in there, including my address - so where do I get them delivered to? |

So I got them a few days ago. I had three assignments, a seminar paper and one dissertation by the end of the month. In two nights I've completed one which I struggled to understand initially and am quite proud of the finished product, a paper that would likely get a first in the exam for and halfway through an assignment which I was warned by my peers took a week for one segment to complete. Going to do the remaining tasks (the remaining one and a half assignments and the dissertation) in the next few days. Going to take Sunday off as it can't be safe to take these on a daily basis. |

I've been taking Modalert while studying over the last couple of days, and I'm still not sure how much of it is a placebo. I managed to get more reading than usual done yesterday (though not as much as I hoped on this 'wonder drug'), but I don't know if it's actually improved my cognitive abilities, or even my concentration, that profoundly. I still find myself checking the internet at regular intervals, and sometimes having to re-read passages. |

Even if I found my ADHD was alleviated by modafinil better than methylphenidate (which probably wouldn't be difficult considering it hardly seems to work at all), I couldn't afford it on a regular basis. The NHS gets me all the Ritalin I might need for two or more months at the price of £8.20. Modafinilcat or whatever is charging over £50 for forty pills. |
