I used to read the Beano as a lad. I heard there was a fan club you could join. Apparently, there's a secret phrase you can say to eachother in real life, to see if the other person is a member. What is the phrase?
I really shouldn't be telling you this, but back in the 70s I went to jail as a scapegoat for the Beano club after a bank robbery went wrong. The club kept hold of millions of Pesos worth of diamonds thanks to me but when I got out they told me all I could get was a lifetime subscription to Bunty.
The passphrase is:
"Spank my bum with a slipper."
I just hope purple isn't a member of the club like the rumours say, I don't want them sending Dan after me for this.
