I didn't bother to look if they were posted here before, but I doubt it. These are comics from Flemish Belgium (I'm not Belgian though).

I wish I could get a copy of this book. Apart from a few translated strips in Art Spiegelman's Raw magazine ( http://comics.lib.msu.edu/rri/crri/cow.htm#henkflos http://web.archive.org/web/20080210081625/64.23.98.142/indy/winter_2005/raw_02/index.html ) this is the only Cowboy Henk in English.

Belgium seems to have a few good surreal comic artists. As well as Herr Seele & Kamagurka, Jeroom and Ever Meulen are names that I have spotted that look interesting.

Belgians really have a weird sense of humour, you should check out 'kabouter Wesley' on youtube for example.

These are amazing.

Anyone remotely interested in comics should go to Brussels at least once.

There's a great comics museum, several shops which have English-language stuff (Brusel being my fave) and there's comic art murals around the city itself.

I didn't see any of that stuff when I was there (apart from all the comics shops, I was genuinely surprised how popular comics are).

This is possibly the first time in history that someone has recommended visiting Belgium.

It's there, some of it is just off Grand Place.

I fucking love Belgium and am always telling people to go, but I just get strange looks :(

The best beer, great food, fab art and architecture. It's the best of Europe and you can also nip over the border to Holland, if you fancy a bit o' weed.

I've been to Brussels a few times, it is a strange place. A weird mix of peoples. On the plus side everyone seems to live in enormous apartments or houses. I can attest to the restaurants being good but as a place it has never really gripped me.

Translated from Dutch which I don't actually speak to German to broken English:

-Phew! What a crowd of people... I'm suffocating in
here.
-In the morning Cowboy Henk chugs on the 7:45 TGV train and he clutches his big hammer tightly.

-Help! I'm the father of seven children.

-Even Later.
-Right! Nice, tidy place. [this made no sense]
-Tickets, if you please.

-Here you are.
-Thank you

-Here you are.
-Thank you.

-Have a nice day.

-That was lucky. Fortunately I've bought a card.

That's my loose translation.
It literally says 'tidied condition nice' which confused me because Dutch grammar is usually similar to German grammar.

Half a year later I find scans of it in a 4chanarchive thread: http://4chanarchive.org/brchive/dspl_thread.php5?thread_id=14046251&x=Cowboy+Henk#14047313
Here so here are all those 48 King of Dental Floss images in one handy cbz: http://www.multiupload.com/9XNN0WJ5Y4
The other Henk images in the 4chanarchive thread are all already in this one.
In fact half of them must have been taken from this thread because I doubt anyone apart from me would be anal enough to download the obscure comics anthologies from which they were taken, or even know that they were there.
