4320 Awfully sorry to bother you.
To be blunt, I've had some unpleasant shits and stomach aches for the last two weeks now. I was wondering if you gents could critasize my diet. It's slowly changed over the years, and I've grown quite fond of it, rarely making alterations here and there. I've maintained this current diet for over 4 months now, the prior diet was very similar. Around 28,000 calories. The picture is one week.

I run 10km 3 days a week and I lift weights 3 days a week. I have a physical job, warehouse managment, stacking stuff on wooden pallets and moving them around into trucks. I do that 4 days a week. I'm 6ft and 14 stone.

I get most of my protein from eggs, chick peas and kidney beans. That and the occasional KFC, kebab or cut of fish whenever it's cheap. Meat is expensive.

I have one shake a day, quite tasty stuff. It's like desert for me.

A fuckton of maltodextrin, basically. Getting a thousand calories a day from that is a first class ticket to diabetes central.

Judging from your diet I suspect the problem is the massive amounts of semen you ingest at both ends.

You've got me worried mate, if I'm consuming it after exercise, shouldn't it be okay?

>>4325
Yeah I do, what of it.

I quite like your diet actually - the weight gainer is the only weird thing as the lad up there said, I'd remove that first. Maybe add some fibre into your breakfast (all bran is a good additive for that) and ensure you're getting plenty of water.

Well you've kept the same diet for months without issue so this points to it being a new development. I presume you haven't shown any other symptoms of what could be an illness (if you have then speak to a doctor) so my immediate recommendation is to start keeping a food diary and comparing input with output.

Start methodically replacing items and see if you notice any improvement. If for instance you notice symptoms improve after cutting, for example, onion then it's good news and bad news. You may notice that this is good advice for IBS so yeah, maybe you're getting older.

Use your best judgement though, if your stomach aches get worse or are extremely bad then go to a doctor.

After heavy weight lifting your muscle cells are definitely more insulin receptive than usual and you can use this to shuttle nutrients into the muscle post workout. A lot of post-workout shakes are essentially protein and maltodextrin, and there's a fair bit of evidence that they work (providing that you're working out hard enough to need them).

I wouldn't be using it as a recovery drink after running / cardio and I certainly wouldn't be using it on a daily basis as a way to bump up my calories. At the end of the day you're looking at roughly 220-250 grams of highly refined sugar in one whack, which most people definitely wouldn't consider healthy.

I'm by no means a slob, but your lifestyle seems utterly mad to me OP. You eat twice what I eat (I'll grant you I am half a foot shorter), I'm bewildered that a human body can operate at the levels you are pushing, the fact that you only get a bit of the shits is a god damn miracle in my mind. I don't think you are going to get the quality of advice you need from a online message board, you need expert advice. You are clearly running a finely tuned machine. What is your body fat out of curiosity?

Well cheers, I quite like it too. I'll cut the weight gainer for a fortnight and see how I feel. If I'm being honest, I just copy what I perceive to be good habits from others. Weight Gainer was one of them. I'll add a box of all bran a week as well.

>>4328
Good advice, I've started with removing the weight gainer. Stomach has been on the up today so far, haven't had any shakes. Seems a bit obvious now I think about it.

>>4329
Cheers for letting me know, I always thought anything in excess like sugar, I'd just piss out. Didn't think about any harm to the body.

>>4330
Oh wow, well thanks man. I got hooked on exercise a several years back when I kicked a few poisonous habits. Not sure if I'd call myself a machine haha. I haven't measured my body fat in a long time, but it was 16% last time I checked. My physique hasn't changed drastically since.

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but if we just pissed out excess calories there wouldn't be a fat cunt on earth. A foul indictment of Britain's failing school system indeed.

Diabetes makes you piss out sugar only because the condition is a failure to metabolise sugar. In an otherwise healthy person all your sugar intake is assimilated.
