I require a list of core texts that one may be expected to read as part of a PPE undergrad degree.

Preferrably for each of the years with texts for each year indicated. Bonus points if broken down into classes.

Like, what books to the reptillian ruling elite read at uni n that?

We did have a great thread somewhere in which we shared reading lists for uni modules. I think it was in /uni/, but I'm not sure. A bit tired to do so myself, but try searching the catalogue over there.

It might be nice if that thread were stickied and updated, thinking of it. It was a brilliant idea.

I wonder if all the boys each year in the Bullingdon club draw straws and the loser has to enter into politics, helping the rest of them from within the system.

It just seems like a massive ordeal for a sliver of power. The public hate you, the media will swarm on you for the slightest thing and the wage probably pales in comparison to the private sector.

Who would pick this life for themselves?
