God bless you.

The thing to watch with any of these reports or opinion is that you don't know what they are based on. All of these places are large and have good or bad. I could wander into a bad pub in London on a visit but that doesn't mean the whole place is bad. Just the same as you'll get rough areas and fun places for younger ages or the fogies, etc.

Unless you're in Liberia or something I don't think there are any towns you can write off as bad altogether. Everywhere has its good and bad. As such it would help a lot if you'd focus more on what you want from it or what you plan to do with the information. Are you looking for tourist locations? Hotels?

London
Huge. Lots of fun things to do and see. Restaurants (and pubs) to please any taste. Great museums.

Manchester
Also huge. The Chinese area had amazing food. The gay area was garish. Also trams.

Birmingham
Another big 'un. Decent museums. Uglier than the above 2 I'd say.

Southampton
Not quite as big, but decent shopping. Nice art gallery. Prettier than the above 3.

>London
Decent. Nice places like Camden. It can take a while to get to know the place.

>Manchester
Not bad. Can seem quite 'trendy' though. Pretty expensive place.

>Birmingham
Great if you like hip hop or Bollywood music. Shite if not.

>Bristol
Not bad. A lot of fit student birds about.

>Glasgow
Great for bands and the like. Has the feel of a fun American city.

>Leeds
Fairy good. Nice whorehouses.

>Southampton
Really good. Students don't seem too studenty and there's Crunk Juice on sale in a few places.

>Liverpool
Fantastic. Dirty as fuck women and a bit of everything for everyone.

>Nottingham
Great pre-club pubs and overall good fun town.

>Newcastle
Fantastically dirty women. Really great fun place.

>Edinburgh
Amazing place. Really does have something for everyone. The best place in the UK during the Festival. Quite bad for big bands venues though, although good for small ones.

>Plymouth
If you can't pull here then there truly is something badly wrong with you. Hot and easy going women everywhere. Fun pubs and clubs. Places that are open all hours. Loads of fun.

Okey I'm originally from Plymouth but where can I find these "hot and easy going" women? Last time I checked the town was full off overweight hambeast with short tempers . Or are you talking about students who are from Cornwall/Poland/France/other parts of Devon? because their pretty hot.

London: Well like any of the major world cities it can be the best city in the world (it has everything), but also like them it can be a massive immigrant ghetto where you'll get stabbed for your wham bar. (But this applies to a few of the places on your list). Probably the most diverse city in the world?

Manchester: I've never been to Manchester but I always just think of Coronation Street, Shameless, the Smiths... you know, just Manchester things. I get the impression its like a bigger Bristol.

Birmingham: I've been there once when I was a kid and all I remember about it is it seemed to be 95% Black people, and it was a bit shit.

Bristol: I like Bristol. Its like a modern city that has retained its English vibe with a lot of its architecture and whatnot. Its got a lot of hipsters/students/art types and a good music scene. (Isn't dubstep or dnb or some genres of dance music shit from Bristol?)

Newcastle: Never been, but from what I hear the girls are the 'fake tan, fuck you for a wkd' type slags, who can be as rough as a badger's arse , or fit as fuck, à la Cardiff/Liverpool girls.

Liverpool: glorious sluts.

Cardiff: my hometown, I like it. glorious sluts. Very very good for shopping and the city is developing/evolving quite rapidly in general. (30 years ago it was a complete shithole with nothing. Much much more money and investment around now) It can be rough/shit in places, and there's a lot of immigrants. Feels very different to the rest of Wales. Its more 'English', which I think basically means its less shit. (I can say that I'm half English and my mates are all foreign as fuck). I think that's maybe something to do with like 90% of money in Wales being spend on/in Cardiff. Its also apparently the flattest city in Britain. So there's that for you.

and I can't be fucked to do any more lad.

> London
too fucking big. avoid at all costs.

> Manchester
Not bad if you don't mind getting assaulted/mugged

> Birmingham
Skanky hole. Avoid.

> Brizzle
Quite a pleasant place as cities go. Local accent makes everyone sound like a farmer

> Glasgow
Never been. I hear it's shite.

> Leeds
Not bad, except for a few ghettos like Harehills.

> Southampton
Lovely place. Ocean front, massive unkempt park in the middle of town. Not spent much time there but it looks good to me.

> Liverpool
Never been. I hear it's full of scousers all going "Eeehhmmmm".

> Nottingham
Nice size, good town center, good night life if you like clubs. Also has an abundance of brilliant pubs. Careful in the town center on friday/saturday nights and avoid the ghettos like The Meadows and St. Anns.

> Sheffield
No longer a working class industrial hellhole. Not spent much time there, but I get good vibes from it. Convenient for peak district.

> Newcastle
It's a long way north, and full of geordies.

> Edinburgh
Never been.

> Cardiff
Quality town. Quality people. Not too big, not too small. Shopping centers for town stuff, tons and tons of pristine countryside a short drive away. Recommended.

> Plymouth

> Aberdeen

> Norwich

> Reading
Generic bland town. Full of Southerners, unfortunately. Also so close to London it starts to feel like a part of it. Avoid.

London YES BLUDD WAGAWAN Rather than being a city, think of London as many many smaller towns and cities crammed next to each other. It's a very strange place, you can be on a road full of pricey gated mansions one moment then take a turning and be in an absolute shithole estate the next.

Manchester YU FOCKCHKH'N WO' DI'KEAD? Full of gays. Culturally diverse for a northern city. Like a mini london in many ways including some of the road names.

Birmingham - the shit bit in between the good parts of the country

Bristol - I hear some of them may or may not have brand new combine harvesters?

Glasgow - met a lad from there once, apparently the number of violent incidents involving melee weapons like axes, maces and hatchets has drastically increased in recent years. Sounds scary.

Leeds - one of those places that's apparently "really nice" whenever I hear anyone discuss it. Never been myself.

Southampton - I couldn't even point to it on a map.

Liverpool - Scouse-house is a crime against music for which all Liverpudlians must eternally pay. Pretty cool place though.

Nottingham - Guns. Lots of guns. (...apparently. Fucked if i'm going there, can't see the attraction)

Sheffield - produces some of the loudest women i've ever encountered.

Newcastle - never understood the 'wearing-shorts-and-a-tshirt-in-all-weathers' thing. Seems like a concerted effort to shrink everyone's cocks forever.

Edinburgh - Heard it's posh, which by scotland standards probably means it's an okay place. Castle looks neato, would like to go at some point.

Cardiff - no data

Plymouth - no data

Aberdeen - no data

Leicester - seems quite genteel and slightly dull.

Norwich - in-bred lunatics - or so they admit.

Reading - no data

I live here. It's alright, I guess, but the Manc accent is obnoxious (The "chav accent" people do is a Manc accent) and the pedestrians around Piccadilly Gardens are rage-inducing.

There are always slow people who dawdle in a diagonal line across the pavement and/or just stop and force you to dodge around them, and the people walking will quite happily barge into you and knock you flat on your arse instead of trying to move past the you.

There are also the fattest most greasy disgusting chavs you've ever seen, piped in from Failsworth or Oldham or Newton Heath or something. It's sickening.

There are musical tramps which are alright for a laugh. There is one with a guitar outside the Italian embassy and there is one with a recorder outside the Wetherspoons nearby. They only know one song each and sing them over and over.

Also Arndale is crap.

All the rest, never been.

London - Stressful, made me want to smoke about 100 fags. I took my American girlfriend there and she loved it. Everything is way too expensive though and I got swindled out of £3.50 by gypsies on that bridge by Big Ben.

Manchester - Good luck getting directions

Birmingham - Only ever been to the NEC when i was about 8.

Bristol - So many students, good museums but a weird layout.

Glasgow - Wishes it was was Capital of Scotland.

Leeds - Neva been

Southampton - Visited briefly, seemed ok apart from the smell.

Liverpool - Never again

Nottingham - Too many students and stoners.

Sheffield - Never been

Newcastle - Never actually been but the train station is alright.

Edinburgh - Good things to do there, and less expensive than London. A lot less expensive.

Cardiff - Home town. It's getting better, but there are better places. Lots of shops and places to eat at a decent price but the people are fucking horrible and unhelpful.

Plymouth - Went to a uni party there once, can't remember much apart from a tidy kebab I ate.

The rest i've never been too.

London - Big. Naturally keep to the centre, touristy bits cos everywhere else is a bit ethnic.

Manchester - No data

Birmingham - No data

Bristol - Seemed pleasant enough. Nice buildings, pretty bits down by the water and a good view if you climb the hill the town sits on. People have a peculiar accent though.

Glasgow - No data

Leeds - No data

Southampton - No data

Liverpool - Lovely city actually. There are some rough/grimy bits, but there's a lot of lovely bits too. Pier Head is particularly nice. Nightlife seems OK, what with their musical heritage and all.

Nottingham - No data

Sheffield - No data

Newcastle - I have vague recollections of the place. I haven't had the desire to return so it couldn't have been amazing.

Edinburgh - No data

Cardiff - I live there currently and it's alright. The city is clean for the most part (except at night, when you find the streets strewn with puke and fast food). Lots of shops and pretty arcades with boutique shops. The bay is really nice and well worth a visit. If you're going to Wales, visit Cardiff and avoid the North at all costs.

Plymouth - No data

Aberdeen - No data

Leicester - No data

Norwich - Until recently Norfolk was my county of residence and I have to defend Norwich. It's not all that exciting, but it has a lot of historical buildings, lovely architecture, an 11th century cathedral and castle, a quaint mediaeval street and a lot of good shopping facilities. The nightlife isn't great, but it's not terrible either. Also, there's no inbreeding in Norwich - you only find that in the countryside (too true, unfortunately)

Reading - Shit. I've heard there are nice bits, but i've yet to see them.

Liverpool:
I live here, but I'm not going to lie, it's one of my favourite cities in the world, and I've been to Vienna, Prague, Dublin, and a shit-ton of others.
It's a strange kind of place, can be extremely fucking surreal and doesn't seem to fit with the rest of Britain, but the people here are fucking lovely and most of them would give you the skin off their back if they thought it would help. The actual districts can be pretty unpleasant, special mention to Toccy which, although I've never had hassle there, isn't somewhere you want to live if you can avoid it. The city itself is great, with special mention to the nightlife (ie sluts).
Manchester: Like Liverpool, but with more gay people and money, and less interesting shit.
I only come down to London very occasionally for work, so I'm by no means well-versed in the place, but it seems like a huge mess that isn't really a coherent city, but still manages to be one of the most interesting places in the world. Also has probably the best views from boardrooms I've ever seen.

Live here. Might be a nice place for tourists, but a shit place to live in. Too many foreigners, too many darkies, too many people in general, impossible to find peaceful solitude, takes too long to make short escapes to the countryside, too much crime, too much pollution, too expensive, urban 'yoof' speak in a form of English that makes you homicidal, people are uptight cunts and annoying hipsters.
