I lived in Newcastle for a couple of decades, I now live and study in Leeds. I think anything south of Darlington should really be classed as the south, or at least the midlands. These people are most certainly not northern, though there's about 3 Greggs to every person here, so perhaps I am being uncharitable. Everyone who was born here seems to insist they're midlanders too though.

By the trillian do you mean Trillians, the pub/club thing in Newcastle? If so you'll be able to pay on the door and they don't really mind if they're overbooked (though they probably won't be)

The best way to get here, if you don't have access to a car, is the train. It'll probably cost about £8 each way but don't hold me to that. There's a normal bus, the X10, that goes from boro concourse to Newcastle too. It's dead cheap.

I'm from Cramlington, a town which makes no fucking sense at all and that none of you will ever have heard of, much less been too.

All the nice bits are in the middle and you're beleaguered by chavs and scum on every which side. Also the scum can't afford knives so a while back a few cases were reported of people being stabbed with sharpened screwdrivers.

Whey. Fuck this shit. At least it's not Blyth.

I've heard of Cramlington, I was going to say I was offended you would challenge my local knowledge, but the only reason I know it exists is because there's a bus around here that goes there. Nobody's ever been, it could well be a place the bus company had made up until you came along, like Throckley. All the buses go there too but I suspect nobody lives there.
