5178 Beard help
I haven't shaved for a couple of years, but as I now need to somewhat integrate into normal society I plan to do so. Should I just go completely clean shaven or do it in stages? Am vaguely tempted to go for Victorian sideburns meeting handlebar moustache look.

Is that picture of your beard? I was expecting more for a couple years, is all. I usually shave down in stages for fun, but if you shave it off all at once it's like a time machine and you're 12 again.

There's no need to shave. I've had a box beard for two years slightly longer than pic related and it didn't stop me getting my job.

Nah, mate, keep that as it is, but neaten it up. Two-tone beards are boss. What the fuck have you got around your neck, though?

Is your job something very gay?

FFS, all that beard and that's what you do with it. If I was as hairy as you I'd be king of the fucking world.

What a boring and stupid question. Fuck off. You've exhausted my goodwill.

My beard gets to this at around the 10-12 month mark. For the love of God, put some Mr Rugged Beard Balm in it or something and sort it out.

I agree with this chap. You don't need to shave it all off, just neaten it up. Go to a decent barber's and ask them to tidy it up and shape it for you; a well-kept beard certainly won't keep you from finding a job, but it will make everyone think you're a hipster. I assume you're used to that by now though.
