5617 Outdoor hats.
I need a hat that I can wear both in the wilderness and when going for a cheeky outdoor pint.

I definitely don't want anything polyester or similar.

There is a sliding scale between practicality and aesthetic.

The most practical hats are floppy hats like Chef in Apocalypse Now wears you can shove them in your pocket when you aren't using them. You'll look like a wally, but any experienced outdoors-man will swear by them.

The most aesthetic is a wide brimmed hat like Dr Grant in Jurassic park, they are entirely impractical as you can't store them and a strong wind will thieve them off your noggin. You'll look like a wally.

You can have the best of both worlds now.

There are modern, and improvements on traditional materials which are waterproof and crush-able, but still have good aesthetic value. Take a look at these wool-felt hats for example.

Why's he even called pielad? Actually wasn't it pie master? I'd associate Greggs with pasties and sausage rolls rather than a pie.

I would associate Timpsons with keys and watch repair business, not anything edible. He was putting something into a furnace, not an oven.

Maybe he liked to eat pies. Maybe his face looks like a pie. Who knows mate. Was a shite forced meme that I'm glad to see the back of.

Plot twist: The person forcing the meme is actually pie master himself.

His image was also used as an avatar on a forum discussing some type of Buddhism back then, I believe it was a smug Nepalilad trying to say 'my idiot mate back home is also some sort of bodhisattva in his wonderfully dim way'. I remember pielad's name to be Glen. Christ I've been here too long.

What the other lad said. It's the Kathmandu lads trying to meme force it. The same lads who post things on job like the 'Britfa.gs nostalgia' screenshot thread on /b/ and then proceed to fill it with images from Britchan and barely anything from this decade, clinging on to glory days which didn't actually exist.

I've been here for years but I don't think I ever really understood what the whole Nepal thing was all about.

A chanologist went over to Nepal for his Buddhist cult. He told everyone he met there to use britfa.gs.

No. He doesn't know the site exists, although he does know of his status as piemaster. He sent me a Timpsons apron and a signed pic of himself. I've not got a pic of the apron at hand, sorry if this is a problem.

Incidentally OP pic is not him, but another fat guy with a smile.

Regards,
Memeforcelad

(A good day to you Sir!)
