..pool? Back in my pub we had red and yellow and black, lucky to find the white in a corner under the table somewhere.
I am a big fan of snooker and I get all my snooker content from 4chan's snooker threads on /sp/. There was even a time when people thought 4chan might finally get shut down by the feds, and I proposed they should migrate here if that happened (don't worry; they're good people). However, because this site is limited to UK IP addresses, none of the foreign posters would have been able to come here.
I've never been able to get into watching pool. Nine-ball pool is the one they usually play, and I don't really enjoy that, and eight-ball pool is so easy if you're a professional that they just clear the table over and over again and there's no challenge. If you want a faster version of snooker, see if you can find a cheeky stream for the Snooker Shoot-Out when that takes place; it's a ridiculous meme tournament with a shot clock and various other rule changes designed to make the game much faster. It also showcases lots of lower-ranked players, which I think is the most exciting part of it. Many professional players hate the Shoot-Out, and it can be a bit cringeworthy to hear the commentators try and turn it into a darts atmosphere, but I do massively enjoy it when it's on (in January or February if I remember correctly).
Anyone been watching the German Masters? Trump is facing Si Jiahai in the final today.
Listings have two start times, which is a bit confusing, but 13:00 is the earlier one. I don't want to drop Purps in the shit with Eurosport, but livestreams are relatively easy to find.
>>10164 I haven't been; there are so many snooker tournaments that aren't on Freeview TV, and I often can't be bothered to find a stream. It's impressive to hear that Si Jiahui is in the final, and it would be great to see him win. However, that might take some of the hilarity away from Shaun Murphy raging that he got beaten by an amateur - and then got beaten by the same amateur a year later - if that amateur later goes on to be a tournament winner.
