I've been the only poster in the boxing thread for probably a year, and you go and start this when it's on the first page of /spo/? With a big picture of Pacquiao on it?

You'll probably be able to find a stream by Googling around. You utter bastard.

Mayweather will start with a right hook following with an uppercut to the chin, breaking the jaw bone, resulting in a knock out victory.

Then, after he finishes beating up his girlfriend he'll turn up to the fight and get rekt in one round.

I did not invent this joke.

Really, I was being sincere with my suggestion. Streams pop up and get killed off quite regularly, but a Google sometime before the fight (searching for boxing forums and communities first) will put you in the right direction.

Just in case you didn't realise the fight is tonight (the early hours of the morning) not tomorrow. Betting websites will often show e.g. "May 3rd" as the fight date as technically that is the date but really for most of us it's still the night of May 2nd. sort of

I hate to recommend the place but 4chan's /fit/ /spo/ and /asp/ will probably all have people pasting streams. If I'm up and about to watch the fight I'll do my best to drop totally legal pastebin links here which might happen to have other links in them which might just happen to stream boxing. And hopefully not even get banned.

As an alternative practically every Walkabout is showing the fight:

http://www.walkaboutbars.co.uk/venues/exeter/events/floyd-mayweather-jr-vs-manny-pacquiao-fad13f59-6d36-4c92-8ce3-af816a384ddb

My local one is closing at 3am as normal then reopening again at 4am for a wristband-only seated affair with the fight on the big screen. So I'm now currently debating whether I want to watch boxing with a bunch of student banter bosses who've been drinking for twelve hours.

Why don't they do this kind of thing with MMA too? *sadface*

Trying to convince a mate with Sky and a TiVo box to buy and record it for me. The current plan is to stay at his with a bottle of shitty spirits and watch the recording Sunday evening. We shall see.

I might watch the highlights but I don't think I'll watch the entirety of a recorded match, part of the joy in watching sport is the known unknowns, and I won't be able to hide away from the result as it'll be all over the radio tomorrow morning.

Chances are it won't be streamed anyway without it getting shutdown, they seem to be pursuing this rather aggressively. Apparently this is the first time ever that sites have been sued under copyright/piracy law for something that hasn't even been shown yet.

Escalating DMCAs. If they don't get a timely response from you, then they try your webhost, your ISP, either of their network providers, and the domain host.

Pretty much this. They've already issued takedown notices to services like periscope. I agree it's impossible to censor the internet, it'll be streamed somewhere, but if that place gets popular at all it will mostly get stopped. They want all the money.

Anyway it was very boring, Mayweather was the clear winner but he did the minimum necessary to win, defensive, dodging and conservative. Efficient and economical. Such a shame.

Mayweather clinches far too much. I made a long tedious post elsewhere about how much it affects the course of a fight and can't be considered part of a 'defensive dtyle'.

If excessive clinches were penalised...

It's driving me a bit crazy to hear talk of Mayweather's impeccable defensive style. He's a talented boxer, true, but he is obviously exploiting an oversight when he clinches so much in fights. That's not defensive, in the same way an aggressive boxer deliberately rocking opponents with the head and elbows is not offensive. It's bending the rules to win.

I think many of his fights, especially with Maidana, would have looked different if he'd had points taken off every third or even fourth time he clinched.

To anyone watching boxing for the first time in yonks, I promise you it's not all bollocks. Gennady Golovkin is my go to example.

Torrents of the fight are normally uploaded within hours on WBVA, this is where I watch all my fights. I don't regularly use streams.

That being said, a quick search led to two fair looking sites that put up links a couple of hours before the fight (presumably so they can't be taken down in advance). Check at 1am.

It's hard to recommend a regular, reliable streaming site as they are normally temporary setups for specific events. A few aggregate sites pull together links. Aside from that, it's just a case of spending a minute looking for it.
