I need to fill in some small holes that currently contain rawl plugs and repaint a room.

I have a stepladder and dolphin-nose pliers. What else do I need to buy?

Paint
Paint rollers (How do I clean these after use?)
Paint tray thing
Paint brush?
Dust sheets
Some sort of masking tape

Things to do plastering? I have no experience with this.

I found some sort of wall filler in the shed that's not all dried up so I pushed some of it into the holes with my fingers.

This is an important part of DIY. At a stretch you're allowed Test Match Special.

In accordance with EU regulations, the radio must be slightly out of tune.

That's just the perils of the AM band on a radio. You're never going to get a good signal on it.

Note that it can be easier to pull rawlplugs out by winding a screw in a small distance, until it starts to grip but not spread the plug out against the hole. You then have something sturdy to pull on, rather than the raggy end of a rawlplug.

You still need to Polyfilla the holes, sand them off to make them smooth and then paint over the entire wall (you can't just do a small bit, it easily shows). Painting walls is very satisfying though - once you've done the prep work (and you really should invest all the time in the prep), the painting is easy and when its done it always looks great, even in plain white - you realise how dirty the old paintwork gets.

Also, buy expensive paint. It's the best advice I have ever been given. If you're painting anything, the more you spend on the paint, the better it looks.

Someone already told me to do this and I'd completely forgotten. That got the final three out, thanks.

Everything is polyfilled. B&Q next-day delivery is great. Just need to vacuum/brush the walls then I'll tape up everything I don't want painting, lay down the sheets and get to work.

I bought about enough paint for the whole room. Dulux silk something I don't know how good it is. If it's bad then that's part of the learning process.

Dulux is great - its usually own-brand paints that are a bit thin and watery.

As I say, sorry. Not sure why my mind makes the associations it does, but it does.

Also I fucking know a rawlplug is called a rawlplug and it's even written multiple times in this very thread and yet I still fucked it up.

Sage for utter pointlessness.

Arse like a the raggy end of a rawlplug.

It's only a rawlplug if it's a Rawlplug®. If it's Wilkos own brand it's a wall plug.

That probably depends on the size of the rawl plug and the capacity of your rectum.
>According to a gastrointestinal expert at the University of North Carolina, Dr. William Whitehead, the maximum capacity of the average rectum is 350 to 500 milliliters. That equates to about a pint in terms of volume, like a pint of beer.
There are lots of different size rawl plugs but the ones I pulled out of the wall are about 3x0.8 cm. They won't stack perfectly as they taper and have flared ends but let's ignore that as they're soft plastic so malleable to some degree and can be squished.
A pint is 568 cubic centimetres so I reckon about two hundred and thirty six.

Oh come on. If you've never stuffed your anus so full that object(s) start to migrate into the transverse colon, can you really call yourself a sexually mature adult?

I thought about that but given how long and 'toothy' they are I don't think they'd move across. Maybe a couple would, but if you kept pushing more in they'd just press against the ceiling of the rectum rather than being propelled sideways into the colon.

The mental image of shoving rawlplugs up your bum reminds me of the anti-rape device they invented in South Africa to be worn in the vagina.
