Rather than the usual crap on TV at Christmas my mum's asked me to put together a playlist of comedy/fun things to watch. Things like Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra, maybe that thing where that guy made a Spitfire recently.
You can tell Bill Bailey had to stop taking drugs at around about the same time they started letting him on QI and do animal documentaries; and like many musicians, it has had a marked effect on the quality of his output.
Taskmaster is great.
Modern life is goodish is ok, though not overtly funny. Definitely watchable though.
You could download Bill Bailey's tours too like Tinselworm and Part Troll.
Guy Martin Vs. the Driverless car is good too.
Tim Minchin is similar to Bill Bailey, so you can check out his DVDs - 'So live' and 'Ready for this?'
Britain's Biggest Hoaxer on All 4 is great. It's about Simon Brodkin, the guy who pranked are Theresa and Trump. Trump was livid.
If you need any more ideas, give me a shout. Don't know why everyone is ragging on Bill Bailey either.
